Douglas E. Beckwith, MD.
Born and raised in Virginia, Dr. Beckwith worked as a General Contractor before returning to school and earning his IVID from Eastern Virginia Medical School in 1988. He completed his residency in Family Medicine at Roanoke Memorial Hospital and joined the practice in 1994. Eventually, the practice would become Chester Family MedCare when Dr. Beckwith purchased it in 1998. Thanks to his background as a contractor, when it was time for the practice to expand, he designed and built the current office which opened in February of 2002. Dr. Beckwith particularly enjoys working with diabetics, both insulin and non-insulin dependent. When not in the office, you can find Dr. Beckwith building an addition on his home. raising Black Angus, riding his Harley, or spending time with his grandchildren.
Clay Perdue, NP-C
Clay began his fore in Nursing by receiving his Associate’s degree in nursing through J. Sergeant Reynolds Community College. He continued his undergraduate studies at Capella University and went on to earn his Master’s of Science in Nursing from South University. Clay is fully licensed by the State of Virginia Board of Nursing and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as a Family Nurse Practitioner. He is a member of the Virginia Council of Nurse Practitioners and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. The majority of Clay’s career in nursing was in the emergency center and still enjoys seeing walk-in, urgent care patients.
When Clay is not at the office he enjoys time camping with his family, and fishing in his spare time. Clay is also a novice beekeeper and enjoys watching football whenever he can.
Katri Lindholm, FNP-BC
Katri Lindholm received her undergraduate degree in nursing from James Madison University and Masters of Science in Nursing from Walden University. Ms. Lindholm is fully licensed by the State of Virginia Board of Nursing and the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She is a member of the Virginia Council of Nurse Practitioners. She is looking forward to building her practice and partnering with her patients to meet their health goals. When she is not working, she enjoys running, traveling, and spending time with her fiancé and their lab puppy, Duke.
Hope Haffizulla, MD.

Dr. Hope Haffizulla-Smith was born and raised in Jamaica. She went to medical school at the University of the West Indies from 1994 to 1999. After her internship, she worked as a General Practitioner for two years before deciding to enter into Family Medicine, She attended the Family Medicine program at Carillion Hospital in Roanoke, Virginia from 2002-2005 and was Chief Resident in 2004-2005. She moved to Richmond and worked as a family medicine physician at another location until joining Chester Family MedCare in June of 2012. Dr, Haffizulla has a passion for working with patients in under-served areas of Virginia and loves the whole scope of family medicine taking care of families, dealing with chronic medical problems, and issues that affect adolescents. When she is not working, she likes to travel, sew, and experiment in painting. Hope resides in Richmond with her husband.
